This site was created in 2004 and is maintained by Philipp Lenssen (philipp.lenssen@gmail.com). All news stories are fake, following the rule "a single lie is worth a thousand truths."

If you want to submit your own fake news, just drop me an email. Include a title, copy, and your full name. Also let me know under which alias (if any) you want to appear. If you want your homepage be linked, include the URL as well.

Images used in news reports are in the public domain via sources like the Gimp photo archive.

If you wonder what RSS is; it's a new syndication format in XML. This means you can subscribe to FakeToday updates in newsreaders like Bloglines.
